Pues estaba viendo mi pagina del facebook, cuando vi una actualizacion de mi muro, que decia , lo siguiente:
Spoiler Hello Resident Evil fans!
This is Capcom R&D Division 1!
First off, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to all Resident Evil fans, for your passion, enthusiasm and continued support for the Resident Evil brand.
Enthusiasm for a Resident Evil 2 Remake is something we've been hearing from you over the years, and has drawn some recent attention in the media.
However, as the team owns the RE brand, we're not certain how we feel about this approach, and would like to ask your honest and frank opinion about the “Resident Evil 2 Remake” and what the brand identity is supposed to be about?
Expresé mi opinión al respecto y me pareció que capcom podría considerar lo que muchos de nosotros hemos estado pidiendo y luego me encontré esta noticia:
Spoiler Hi Resident Evil fans!

I was told by my boss to check out the post by "R&D Division 1" on the Resident Evil Facebook page, and THIS IS AMAZING....
Thank you so much for your passion and continued support for Resident Evil brand!
He was also telling me...“can YOU make a worth seeing game to answer these fans full of passion???"
This order actually makes me SUPER excited...!!!
¿Ustedes que opinan, será que capcom nos cumplirá nuestro deseo, será esto un anuncio?
Hideki Kamiya, director de RE2, ha expresado su opinión respecto al remake en una entrevista sobre su actual proyecto Scalebound:
Spoiler GC: I notice you mentioned your work on Resident Evil 2 in your introduction, and I’m sure you’re aware of the rumours that Capcom are planning to remake it. I wonder if you have any thoughts on that, and whether Platinum would ever considering working with Capcom. I don’t know if there’s any bad blood there or not…
Translator: [laughs]
GC: Do you think they regret losing you and the other team members?
HK: [laughs] So, there’s a few parts to this question. The first part is I’ve also heard of rumours of a remake of Resident Evil 2. And even before that, there were a bunch of fans that were tweeting me, or I’ve read a lot of comments like, “Hey, what would Kamiya think of a Resident Evil 2 remake?” My response every time someone asks me is that I don’t really like horror games. I don’t want to be frightened! So that is not something I would want to be working on.
But if I can experience a remake as a player then that would probably be okay, and that would satisfy me. And why I’ve said that is that before directing Resident Evil 2 I was part of the team that made the original Resident Evil 1, and as a development staffer you see everything that goes into the game. You see every little detail, you even participate in debugging the game. And by the end of it we had full confidence that this was going to be a great game, but at the end of it all it’s almost a product that you know too much about and it’s very difficult to see it from a different perspective. You need to put on a fresh set of eyes to see it from a consumer’s point of view.
But that was not going to happen, because I knew too much about the game, so when the remake was done for Resident Evil 1 in a way it was actually a dream coming to reality. Or it was actually fulfilling one of the dreams of… I would want to play this game, not as a development staff member but as one consumer, as one fan, as one player. So I really had an appreciation of being able to play with a fresh pair of eyes.
Even though a lot of the maps and designs were carried over from the original there were enough tweaks and adjustments in the remake that they made me feel like, “Wow, I’m playing this game for the first time”. So in that regard I have the same feelings for this Resident Evil 2 remake, which is that I would want to play it if only I could experience it as a consumer.
So, I would not want to work on the remake of Resident Evil 2, because of the reasons I just stated. However, I can honestly say that if there’s ever an opportunity, that makes sense for me or the studio, to work with Capcom again I would very much welcome that opportunity. Of all the publishers, not just Japanese publishers or partners, I can say with confidence that Capcom still holds a very, very special place in my heart and I love them dearly. It’s one of my favourite companies.
